Make an Altoids Flashlight with John Jackson
This summer John Jackson of Bugs-R-Us will present a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs at Jackson County Libraries during the summer reading program. These free programs are sponsored by the Kenneth A. and Lucille D. Hulburt Family Trust and are for youth ages 12+, or 8-11 with a caregiver. All materials are provided. Pre-registration is required.
Build an Altoids Flashlight - Jackson will teach youth how to turn an Altoids tin into a flashlight. Youth will learn the basics of circuitry as they assemble a flashlight that is theirs to keep on Tuesday, August 8, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., Ruch Branch Library, 7919 Highway 238.
