Join the Brain Books Discussion Group as they consider the following books on fourth Tuesday of the month from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. in the Guanajuato Room of the Ashland Branch Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard.

August 22: One Nation Under God: How Corporate America Invented Christian America by Kevin Kruse
Conventional wisdom is that Christian America recently became political. This book shows that “Christian America” is itself a very new thing,
created by the political movement that benefits from it, starting small in the 1930s and accelerating during and since the 1950s. It’s a new thing, not an old one.
