Jazz and the Civil Rights Movement Online
Join performer and lecturer Galen Abdur-Razzaq for a presentation on the cultural and historical significance of jazz music during the civil rights movement.
Galen is an extraordinary flutist with an extensive performance career. He is also a riveting speaker with encyclopedic knowledge on the history of jazz and the Civil Rights Movement. Galen studied at Berklee College of Music and holds a Master’s Degree in Education and Performing Arts from Rutgers University, New Jersey.
