Windows In Time: “Making History Together: The 75-year story of the Southern Oregon Historical Society”

Windows In Time: “Making History Together: The 75-year story of the Southern Oregon Historical Society” Online

From the beginning, the story of the Southern Oregon Historical Society (SOHS) was one of people coming together to enhance their community. In this talk, Alice Mullaly will focus on the stages of development that made SOHS a leader in historic preservation and regional history education. Join us to learn more about SOHS's past and get a preview of how SOHS will be integral to our community in the future.

Alice Mullaly is a retired teacher and long-time volunteer in the Southern Oregon Historical Society Research Library and at Hanley Farm. She has written several articles and given several talks for SOHS. Alice has recently completed a timeline of the 75 years of SOHS history.

The monthly Windows In Time lunchtime lectures feature well-known writers and historians and bring alive the people, values, and events that shaped our Southern Oregon heritage. Lectures are jointly sponsored by the Southern Oregon Historical Society (SOHS) and Jackson County Library Services.
