Windows In Time: "Over Here: Jackson County and World War I"

Windows In Time: "Over Here: Jackson County and World War I" Online

Join Kevin Keating as he explores what it was like in Southern Oregon during World War I. Using information from news sources and the National Archives, Kevin will touch upon war supporters and anti-war individuals as well as problems like prostitution and intimidation that occurred in the Rogue Valley while the war was “over there.”

The monthly Windows In Time lunchtime lectures feature well-known writers and historians and bring alive the people, values, and events that shaped our Southern Oregon heritage. Lectures are jointly sponsored by the Southern Oregon Historical Society (SOHS) and Jackson County Library Services.
