March of Monsters: A Study in Cryptozoology! Age 13+
Cryptozoology is the search for, and study of, animals whose existence or survival is not believed to exist by mainstream science. This includes the Loch Ness monster, Mothman, and Big Foot! Learn what makes a cryptid and how you can (try) to find them on your own!
This program will run for two Saturdays in a row, but we'll have a different activity each week!
Saturday, March 11th: Cryptology Adventure Journals - You'll be provided with a journal so that you draw what you think they look like — and also design your own! Journals, pens, and other design supplies will be provided.
Saturday, March 18th: Cryptid Sculptures - Model your very own cryptid out of clay and other materials provided by the Teen Library.
Feel free to join us for one program, or both! There will be interesting information and activities on both days.
