Beneficial Insects: Know Your Garden Buddies, 18+ YRS Online

Many of us think of insects in our gardens as pests eating our plants, but did you know there are many beneficial insects that will eat these pests? Join JCLS and the Jackson County Master Gardeners for this virtual presentation to learn how to to identify some of the bad bugs and good guys in your garden, as well as how to cultivate a thriving garden ecosystem.

Grace Florjancic is the Master Gardener Coordinator at the Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center (SOREC). She has a background in microbiology and horticulture from Virginia Tech. Grace has experience working in botanic gardens and research in greenhouses, but now focuses on education outreach in our Jackson and Josepine counties.
