Spontaneous Shakespeare, 9-14 YRS

Spontaneous Shakespeare, 9-14 YRS

Improv meets Shakespeare! Forsooth cans’t thou shareth thy disc of breaded cheese? Woulds’t thou call it pizza? Join us for this fun workshop where participants will tap into their spontaneous creativity through theatre exercises and improv games. Plus we’ll take a little romp into the language of Shakespeare.

This workshop is part of the Ashland Library's Shakespeare Birthday Party and will be led by Ashland Children's Theatre. It is intended for young people ages 9 to 14 years old. Please register below for this session, and check here for a full schedule of the day's events for all ages.

Ashland Children’s Theatre has been bringing theatrical experiences to the children of the Rogue Valley since 2004. ACT offers a variety of classes and summer camps throughout the year, training youth ages 4-17 in acting, improv and performance. Ashland Children’s Theatre is a non-profit organization whose mission is to strengthen the vibrant youth culture of Southern Oregon by providing children and their families with performance experiences, theatre education, and opportunities for self-expression. Co-Directed by Kate Sullivan & Eve Smyth.
