Learn Your Dog's Language, 5+ YRS
What if you could speak dog? You can! Join the Friends of the Animals as they present and teach us how to know what your dog is saying through their body language. What do you do if you find an animal on the street? What does responsible dog owerneship look like? What is your dog telling you when their tail is pointed straight up, like a flagpole? Did you know that a dog yawning doesn't always mean they are tired? Come learn how to read a dog's body language and interact with dogs in a safe and comfortable way for both humans and dogs. You’ll also learn grooming tips and a great way to brush their teeth. There will also be a discussion on spaying or neutering our pets and how this is one of the most important decisions you can make for their preventive health care. Dog and cat neutering and spaying have numerous health-related and behavioral benefits for your pet that can also improve your lives together.
