Love Where You Live, Defend What You Love with the Klamath-Siskiyou Wildlands Center (KS Wild), 18+YRS

Our region is a biodiversity hotspot. In this program we'll dig into details about the region's unique nature, highlight some of our favorite spots on public lands, and talk about how folks can get engaged with local advocacy of the region.

KS Wild’s mission is to protect & restore wild nature in the Klamath-Siskiyou region of southwest Oregon & northwest California. We promote science-based land & water conservation through policy and community action.

Haleigh Martin is KS Wild's Communications Manager. She shares a deep love for the region and passionately believes in advocating for its protection. With her extensive wilderness trail maintenance and backpacking experience, she has explored much of the region and has stories to tell of its wild wonders.

Frances Oyung grew up hiking, skiing, rafting, and backpacking in central California and has had a love of the outdoors her whole life. Having lived in the Rogue Valley since 1992, Frances is currently employed as the Rogue Riverkeeper Program Manager for KS Wild and has an extensive knowledge of the region.
