Renaissance Music with Ensemble Fontegara, ALL AGES
Celebrate Shakespeare's Birthday with music from his time, performed by Ensemble Fontegara, Ashland's own Renaissance Recorder ensemble. Featured will be Canciones and Motets in a manuscript dedicated to the Duke of Lerma published around 1600 in Spain.
Ensemble Fontegara is part of Musica Matrix, a local 501c3 organization devoted to bringing history to life through music. This concert is part of the Ashland Library's Shakespeare Birthday Party. Please check here for a full schedule of the day's events for all ages.
