Rogue Reads: Hatfield Marine Science Center Octopus Presentation Viewing Party, ALL AGES

Join us and the Oregon Sea Grant Marine Education Staff from Oregon State University’s Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC) for a 1-hour virtual presentation about the wonderfully charismatic giant pacific octopus. Dive into the anatomy, diet, habitat, remarkable adaptations, and more as we investigate the ins and outs of this super sneaky cephalopod. Participants will also hear what it’s like for on-site aquatic animal health staff to care for giant pacific octopuses located at HMSC, including feeding, health checks, and enrichment activities.

This is a viewing party for a virtual presentation.
