What You Need to Know About Wolves - Presented by Greg Roberts

Come join us at the Butte Falls Elementary School Gymnasium (239 Main St., Butte Falls, OR) for “What You Need to Know About Wolves,” presented by Greg Roberts. This program was originally scheduled at the Butte Falls Library but has been relocated to accommodate additional seating.

Greg Roberts served eight years as a charter member and the original Chairman of the Jackson County Oregon Wolf Committee, a citizens advisory group that assists with livestock loss compensation and supports efforts to address conflicts involving wolves.

His interest in wolves began in 1987 after observing a pack near Mt. Ashland while deer hunting. When the sighting was questioned, he began an intensive study that became a significant focus of his work.

Since 2014, Greg has delivered presentations attended by wildlife staff, biologists, and community members, many of whom have noted the depth and value of the information shared.

This presentation offers an informative opportunity to learn more about wolves and their presence in our region.
