Hands on Storytime

Each month this summer we will have a special Summer Reading Storytime followed by a craft related to the books. This will be aimed at younger children but all community members are welcome to attend.

June: Frog & Toad followed by creating a frog hotel or toad house using found/recycled materials. We will also have our special guest tad poles with us.

July: The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Digger and the Butterfly followed by creating a moving paper caterpillar toy. Our special guests will be Painted Lady caterpillars we will grow at the branch.

August: The Tortoise and the Hare & So Tortoise Dug followed by creating your own felt tortoise hatchling. Our special guest with be the Branch Manager's Sulcata Tortoise, Ivy.
