Why save seeds? Enjoy resilient plants, money savings, community connection and participating in the magic of life through seeds. Seed saving can be easy and fun! We'll cover the basics of how to get started saving seeds confidently. Gardeners of all skill levels welcome - bring your questions! While this program is geared toward teens and adults, all ages are welcome.

When gardeners save seeds, we often end up with far more seeds than we would normally receive in a single packet. Having more seeds allows us to grow more plants, make more "mistakes" in the garden, enjoy high-quality seeds, and eat surplus seeds. We become more empowered and inspired through the magic of seeds. We can also enjoy more community connection by sharing our extra plants and seeds with friends at seed swap events and with our local seed library. (Thanks Ruch Library!)
