Monday Movie Classics: "Murder by Death"

Monday Movie Classics & More

Catch a movie on Mondays in November at the Gold Hill Branch Library, 202 Dardanelles Street, now with screenings starting at 1:00 p.m. This month the theme is: Murder Mysteries Through A Few Decades.

November 20, Murder by Death — Invited to “dinner and a murder” by the wealthy Mr. Twain (Truman Capote), five slightly skewed versions of fiction’s greatest detectives descend upon a bizarre mansion to solve an even stranger mystery, with varying degrees of success. (1976, 1h 34m)

November 27, Clue — Based on the popular board game, six guests with tangled personal lives are invited to a dinner party where they have to sort out seven suspects, six weapons, and five bodies, which just may result in a few possible endings. (1985, 1h 34m)

Movie Classics & More is sponsored by the Friends of the Gold Hill Library. For more information, please call the Gold Hill Branch Library at 541-855-1994 or visit jcls.org.
