Ashland Library Art Salon: Ann DiSalvo

Ashland Library Art Salon: Ann DiSalvo

Local artists will discuss the evolution of their art over the years and present digital photos of their work at the Ashland Library Art Salon held in the Gresham Room.

In August, Ann DiSalvo will present her work. DiSalvo is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with an art degree from UW Stevens Point. She spent twelve years in the arts and natural sciences in Kentucky, and relocated to rural Oregon in 1992 and Ashland in 1993. She opened Studio A.B with Bruce Bayard on A St. in 1998. Since her arrival, she has been involved with many local organizations centered in the arts, most recently as Secretary of the Ashland Gallery Association and editor of the Ashland Gallery Guide. Ann has participated in every Art Along the Rogue Street Painting Festival in Grants Pass until 2012. She facilitates two figure drawing sessions each week in Ashland, and she is a founding member of the Pomegranate Group, a women's figure study session. Ann works mainly in dry media with forays into brushwork.
