Brain Books Discussion Group: "A Different Kind of Animal"

Join the Brain Books Discussion Group as they consider the following books on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. in the Guanajuato Room of the Ashland Branch Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard.

May 22, 2018: A Different Kind of Animal: How Culture Changed our Species by Robert Boyd (2017). This book argues that our intelligence is not in fact what made us the dominant species, but our culture, which allowed us to pass on what we learned and also to live in large groups.

The Brain Books Discussion Group is sponsored by the Friends of the Ashland Public Library. For more information, please call the Ashland Branch Library at 541-774-6996 or visit jcls.org.
