Poetry Reading with Linda Millemann
Join poet, Linda Millemann as she reads from her third book of poetry, And These Few Precious Days. Sustained and inspired by this beautiful planet, Millemann writes poems of praise and wonder, and is also the author of Along the Way, published in 2013. She encourages readers to read her poetry out loud, believing poetry is meant to be heard as well as read, saying “we must sample the flavor of words and lean listening into their round and resonant sounds for the stories they will tell.” She lives in Oregon and Colorado, and on the many winding roads that stretch between.
This event will take place in the Gresham Room at the Ashland Library.
