Bugs at the Library
Learn about bugs and touch live insects with John Jackson of Bugs-R-Us Educational Services. Learn all about the world of insects, bug anatomy, bugs in the environment, what bugs eat, insect defenses, and camouflage. Find out how insects help humans, how many insects are on the earth at any given time, and even insect history. Don’t just hear about insets... go ahead and touch them too, with three species of stick insects, a tarantula, two species of cockroaches, a vinegaroon and blue-berry beetles. And if you dare, you can even try tasting freeze-dried crickets and mealworms!
