Reading and Discussion: A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens Online
Join us to read and discuss Charles Dickens' novel A Tale of Two Cities.
It's the late 1700s in Paris. Oppression and poverty have led to the violent, destructive uprising of the French Revolution. A French expatriate travels to Paris from his home in London, and because of his family name he is imprisoned and sentenced to death. Amid a storm of injustice and violence, his wife and family try to save him.
A Tale of Two Cities is a story of courage, love, sacrifice, and redemption during a chaotic and dangerous time in history.
