Leadership in Literature: A Hunger Games Water Fight, 12-18 YRS
Swing by the Prospect library to play a round of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games (but much safer and more fun!). We’ll quickly discuss some of the leadership traits shown in the books, and then you’ll have 20 minutes to build yourself a lean-to out of cardboard and tape. When time is up, you’ll have to defend yourself and your shelter with water soaker balls! Aside from being fun, this program teaches critical thinking, organization, and strategy. Safety rules of the game will be read at the beginning of the program and will be enforced. Make sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet!
Please note, masks and social distancing are required to participate in this program.
