Bee a Leader with the Southern Oregon Bee Association: How Bees Live and Work Together, 8+ YRS

Bee a Leader with the Southern Oregon Bee Association: How Bees Live and Work Together, 8+ YRS

Please note, this program has been changed to a 2:45 start time.

Honeybees live in groups, just like people do! Learn how thousands of bees live and work together in harmony. We will even look at some live honeybees at work in an observation hive. While honeybees and other pollinators take care of each other, they are also helping plants through pollination, which helps the plant produce seed/food, which, of course helps humans, too! Honeybees and other pollinators, however, are facing new dangers and problems because of the ways humans do things, such as monocropping and using toxic chemicals. But WE CAN help lead the way to do things differently! What are some ideas for leading a bee, plant, and human healthy future?!

Please note, masks & distancing are required to attend this program.
