Take & Make: Sewing Stories Family Tree Quilt Square, 18+ YRS
Hand sew (applique) a quilt square of your family tree. Stitch a beautiful and bright quilt square featuring leaves (people), birds (our deceased loved ones), and a few lemons (the bright characters in our family). Instructions and supplies included in kit. This program was inspired by the book Sewing Stories Harriet Powers, from Slave to Artist by Barbara Herkert.
