CANCELED: Connecting Through Art: For Parents and Children

This program has been canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions. 

Visual art plays a role in literacy, broadening a child's vocabulary and critical thinking skills. This program is designed to engage parents and children in creative thinking by providing a space for creating and discussing personal works of art. We will provide the supplies for each person to experience the creative process. Then, parents and children will go through a guided discussion to reflect and connect through their art, building language skills and encouraging artistic exploration.

This program is for children, ages 5 to 8, and their caregivers. Space is limited, so please register. When you register, be sure to select the number of people attending from your household.
