A Parent’s Guide to Books on Tricky Topics Online
Join JCLS librarians for a program about using books as starting points for conversations with children about tricky topics. Inspired by We Are Water Protectors’ portrayal of children taking action on issues they care about, our conversation will touch on several books that address current events and other big topics in age-appropriate ways. Program facilitators will draw on their professional and personal experience to share titles they recommend. Participants are invited to bring suggestions for books they have found useful as well.
