Master Gardener Susan Koenig will provide home gardeners with a brief introduction to the various types of roses in home cultivation today and best planting and maintenance practices to care for them. Topics include selecting and planting bare root and potted roses; fertilizing, watering and mulching; how to prune modern roses, old garden roses, and climbers; and how to identify and treat rose pests and diseases.
