CANCELLED: Korean Gardening with Jason Riessland

CANCELLED: Korean Gardening with Jason Riessland

Instructor Jason Riessland will introduce the system of farming and gardening developed by Master Han-Kyu Cho of South Korea. The system utilizes the revitalization and reintroduction of indigenous microorganisms into the soil, as well as inexpensive, made-on-site liquid fertilizers that can be applied directly to the soil, or used as a foliar spray. This class is open to everyone and has no prerequisites.

Riessland will discuss the agricultural crossroads we find ourselves in at present. Participants will learn to identify the rights, principles, and heart of Natural Farming; develop a basic understanding of the nine core solutions used in Korean Natural Farming; and receive and introduction to the IMO1 process.

Riessland became a certified instructor in Korean Natural Farming (KNF) in 2017. He's a Master Gardener in Oregon (2010) and Hawaii (2013) and has completed courses in permaculture design. He also serves on the board of Cho Global Natural Farming.
