I'm With the Banned

I'm With the Banned

Once a month, adults will meet to read one banned book a month. We will be discussing what caused these books to be banned, what being banned means, and how this impacts us as a society. We will talk about the who and the why, and if we agree or disagree. The October 5th discussion will be a combined session of both adults and teens. 

Here are the titles: 

September: Catch 22 by Joseph Heller

October: Little Brother by Cory Doctorow (adult and teen)

November: The Jungle by Upton Sinclair
