Take & Learn Kit: Following the Trail in Winter, 18+ YRS

Winter provides unique opportunities to explore elements of the natural communities that remain hidden at other times of the year. This self-guided activity will invite participants to reconnect and explore the natural world under a blanket of snow. Participants will be guided through activities that examine snow from geographic, chemical, and mechanical/physical perspectives integrated with place-based experiences supporting connection to ecological communities. Participants will be invited to engage in guided, reflective experiences that engage their relationship to winter and how to integrate winter into an annual cycle of conservation activities.
