Windows in Time: Community Support 101 - What the Carpenter Family Gave Us, 18+ YRS

Windows in Time: Community Support 101 - What the Carpenter Family Gave Us, 18+ YRS Online

One family that has contributed to the Southern Oregon community for generations is the Carpenter Family. Alice Mullaly will talk about this special family and their wonderful contributions to the Rogue Valley like USO clubs in WWII, the Red Cross, the Community Hospital, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, hundreds of Carpenter Foundation grants, and more.

The monthly Windows in Time lunchtime lectures feature well-known writers and historians and bring alive the people, values, and events that shaped our southern Oregon heritage. Lectures are jointly sponsored by the Southern Oregon Historical Society (SOHS) and Jackson County Library Services.
