Ashland Library Art Salon: Denise Souza Finney

Local artists discuss the evolution of their art over the years and present digital photos of their work at the monthly Art Salon held at the Ashland Library in the Gresham Room. 

In July, Denise Souza Finney will present her work. Finney paints in acrylics and mixed media. She works in her studio in Ashland, which is housed in a beautifully restored century-old barn called The Garden Studio.  Her work explores the figure, the dancer, and the poppy flower as her subject matter. Her paintings focus on movement and gesture incorporating line, color and texture to create a layered image.
